Multi-wood cutting boards

* $250

* $250
Description
Two distinct cutting boards, both made with different species of reclaimed exotic hardwood flooring. The first image clearly shows the richness and deep hues of malt, red, and purple that woods from abroad can naturally contain. The second two images show the other board which has an inlay of blue epoxy for a blast of striking color contrast, and is a great reason to reserve one side of your board solely for serving and display. Other than the colored epoxy, all other colors are naturally present in these woods. Here at Iron Forest Designs, we leave cutting and serving boards unadulterated by stains and dyes so that they remain organic, food safe, and biodegradable. They are only ever treated with 100% non-toxic mineral oil and pure beeswax.
Honeycomb Chef's Knife

* $350

Description

This large yet elegant chef's knife measure in at a whopping 15 inches! More than enough damascus to tackle any and every standard kitchen task. The handle is made with aluminum honeycomb, blue resin, a stunning mosaic pin, and locally sourced olivewood. The perfect luxury gift for the chef in your life that will prepare you and your family many meals for generations to come.
Faceted Patterned Ply Knife

* $225

Description
For this knife, I used a Mora blade. Anyone who knows knives understands the reputation of this well-respected Swedish company, and rightly so. The blades stay razor sharp through the toughest abuse, and yet are ground to an extremely fine bevel reducing the weight to almost nothing. The handle is made from plywood patterned into a diamond shape, and accented with water buffalo horn. The faceting also resembles that which one might see on a gemstone, and is surprisingly comfortable to hold. Akin to a Nordic puukko knife, it is appropriate for use as a pairing knife in the kitchen, a utility knife around the house or shop environment, or even EDC.
